So much to do! And summer is rapidly passing us by. Soon it will be time for A to start Kindergarten and C will start her last year of preschool.
We had a fantastic weekend at my parents' place. I love a good old fashioned small-town Fourth of July, complete with Shriners in the tiny cars in the parade, fireworks off the pier viewed from dad's boat and daily trips to the beach for rock hunts and games of sand kitties (no idea what that means, it's just one of the girls' rituals/games). A wonderful time all around, but now we're home and it's time to get back to work.
Things to do:
- Work with the girls on their workbooks three times per week.
- Make homemade Chia Pets with the girls (this is the cutest. See here: Link)
- Clean the kitchen floor.
- Finish cleaning the rest of the house.
- Laundry.
- Go grocery shopping.
- Prepare A and C's clothes for fall.
- Make some more things to sell in my Etsy store.
- Make more gifts for the holidays.
